Warm and Cold

Even the moving water is freezing over, but the contrast of warm sunset light and cool snow shadows is at the perfect point. It looks like a painting. It’s about a half mile from my house, I drove past, hurried to get my camera and come back before the color was gone.

A few details. The creek winds through its course, and the open water winds through the ice.

Just this graceful little section.
