Seasonally Confused Seasonally Confused The forsythia is only one of several perennial shrubs that bloomed a second time this year, usually in autumn. This particular forsythia has been blooming for over a month, and it’s got quite a selection of buds to keep it going. Plants will do this when their blooming season didn’t permit them to bloom as usual, like an extra dry spring.
