Duskywing Has Some Catnip

Duskywing in the Nip

Cats aren’t the only creatures who have a thing for catnip—this duskywing butterfly (looks like a Horace’s duskywing skipper) spent quite a bit of time visiting ALL the catnip flowers. I spent quite a bit of time photographing the entire event. His catnip indulgence did not have the same effect as it does on cats, but his activities did ensure that I’ll have catnip seeds this year as he pollinated all the flowers.
