The Amish Neighbors The Amish Boy I visited a friend on her small farm, and knowing I’d be photographing far and wide I asked her Amish neighbors if they minded being included in some of my photographs or photographed intentionally. They did not mind if they were photographed as they went about their business of the day. In the photo above the focus on the grass and fence in the foreground, and therefore the focus off the Amish boy, was not intentional, but I’m happy it happened. I took others as well as he walked up and around the family garden to a neighbor’s house that I may paint someday. Below, Grandmother was tending her garden.
