Summer Fire Daylilies Those good old-fashioned orange daylilies put on a show all week, and they are nearly done. For as common as they are, there is nothing more vibrant in the evening sun. I’ve had these daylilies for at least 25 years when I dug up just a few of them from along railroad tracks. They moved here with me and I’ve given so many away. I love to think this flower that has been beloved by people for a couple millennia is still being shared and enjoyed today. I just had to post a flower today.
