Self-portrait in Reflection Self-portrait in Reflection I caught my shadow silhouetted on the water the other day as I was photographing the kingfisher, then intentionally took a few with all the reflections and shadows of a sunny winter day, seeing myself and the tree and the dried wildflowers all equally represented by silhouettes on the impermanence of moving water; it was also the day before my birthday, a good day for reflection. . . . . . . .
