Pink Dusk Pelican Pink Dusk Pelican One of the photos I took on my quick little trip to Savannah in January, my niece took me to a nice marsh to watch the sunset. The sky was fairly overcast, but that softened all the dark shadows in the back ground, including the row of trees, and it seemed as if the pink in the air was held in place by the clouds. I had envisioned a bright and colorful portrait of this bird but the sun was setting fast and by the time he settled in on the post it was quite dark. I find I love all the soft violet, pink, olive and dusky blue tones in this scene. The pelican was happy to pose for his photo. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram.
