Morning Harvest Green and yellow, I like them both. This photo is from a couple of years ago; the white-tailed deer happily ate my garden, and then my tree fell on it, so no garden for this year. I love my flowers but I miss my vegetables and love my photos of my harvests. I love to photograph my vegetables, even just to document them. Out of this overgrown and unloved back yard I lovingly built a sustainable organic garden, bed by bed, and for a good bit of the time I’ve lived here most of what I ate came from this garden. I even grew heritage seeds and saved them each year, starting my own plants each year. Someday I will have to collect my photos of my garden over the years, both from film and digital. And I had set the basket on the top step then turned around and saw it was a sweet photo with the green and yellow beans, basil, lemon verbena, a yellow gerbera daisy and just a splash of pink phlox in the background.
