The Light at the End of the Tunnel The Light at the End of the Tunnel I love this little access road just as much for the oaks that line the sides opening out to a light-filled ravine and no less for the descending dips in the road, and for the many photos its given me in all seasons and times of day. I drive by to see what treasures wait in the shadows and light appear as I slow down to assess if I need that photo. It’s a back road so I can just slow down and snap, then keep going, but for the best ones I need to pull over and get out of my car. I took this photo on the way home for errands, enjoying the dusk falling around me as I drove through woods and fields. Dusk dimmed the light in the tunnel but kept the trees in the ravine lit well enough to see the colors. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram. Visit my photography galleries on Portraits of Animals.
