Little Garden Treats Little Garden Treats On a dark and drizzly September morning you can still find little garden treats if you know where to look. My back yard has grown too shady to grow much in autumn—as the sun lowers its angle it falls behind my neighbor’s trees to the east and south. They’ve grown quite tall since I’ve lived here, and I have always loved my autumn garden, so much easier than summer with its heat and storms. The occasional frost is easier to manage, the soil stays moist because it’s cooler, and insect pests are often winding down or totally absent. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram.
