First Daylily With More in Line

I’ve been watching the buds for days, and finally it was out there, the first daylily to bloom. And by the looks of it I’ll soon have dozens blooming all at once.

The first day they bloom with only one flower, never more. Then three, then seven, then in a few days dozens all at once. And then it’s summer!

And I noticed when I searched other daylily posts that the other two I shared as “the first daylily” were also published on this date, June 17. I think I’ll call it Daylily Day.
