Big Yellow Corn Moon

The clouds moved from west to east while the moon rose over the horizon and up into the cloud cover. That was fun to try to capture! The hardest part was trying to capture the size of that moon! There is no scale of reference when it’s up in the sky, but it was so large when I looked out the window that it almost frightened me. Still beautiful, though.

This is also the harvest moon, being the moon closest to the autumnal equinox, which is Wednesday, September 22. It’s hard to believe it’s the end of summer, already.
