Wireless Communicate clearly, listen attentively, and take your turn. Grackles aren’t always known for manners, but even they exhibit them here. One grackle emphatically expresses a grackle thought while the grackle a few branches away leans forward and listens to the message against today’s leaden sky. Sounds like a squeaky gate to me, but I’m not a grackle and therefore privy to their language, even though with the low overcast I could hear them quite clearly though at a distance.
