Like our memories, the shadows of flowers are not complete, clear and sharp in some areas, blurred where the breeze touches them, indistinct as the sun dapples move and flicker, incomplete in detail, yet we fill in the details and recognize what we hold dear.
In photographing a vase of flowers in dappled sunlight, suddenly the sun shone full through the leaves and this shadow appeared like a vision. The photo of the flowers was nice, but this was so unexpected it deserves its own time.. . . . . . .
