Sunny Morning Crocus

Single Crocus
Single Crocus

You’re going to see a few more of these crocuses. This plant always blooms first with just one or two flowers, one at a time.

Now a newer cluster of them blooms in another less-protected area, but with more blooms.

This was from yesterday, February 27, and the new cluster bloomed fully today. I just about fainted with how precious they were, and have more photos than I know what to do with. But none are ever as purple or as perfect as this first crocus.
