Song of Peace

The miracle is to wake up to a new day and another chance to fill it with songs of love and peace.

I had a late night/early morning to get work finished, but when I saw the colors in the sky, opened the window and heard the chickadee, and saw the silhouette against the sky, I forgot all about tired eyes and wanting to rest.

Hearing the news weighs my heart. So much death and suffering, destruction, forever, of lives and places. If only all of those involved could awaken to the chickadee and the slowly evolving morning light arching above us, find love for each other and sing a song of peace in the world, instead of the horror that’s been created…
