Snowy Blossoms

Pear trees along the sidewalk.

The ornamental pear trees on Main Street are ready for spring, suddenly in full flower after only a few days of warm weather, and snow, ice and a freeze just four days ago.

Each year, I can’t help but photograph them once again, though it’s been 20 years since I started photographing them.

With blue sky.

I only captured one section, another is no longer pear trees, but another farther down Main Street is also in bloom. I want to capture this section at sunset because I am facing west and that would be the background. if I remember to head down at that time. We’ll see!

I’ll just note that I’m catching up with all the photos I didn’t manage to share here back to February. I didn’t realize it had been that long. I like to have this as a kind of archive as well as for your enjoyment. So for a while, we’ll be moving backward in time in some posts, and forward in others. Should be an interesting effect!
