Dogwoods and Catkins

Dogwoods and Catkins
Dogwoods and Catkins

Two trees mingle in a spring dance. Somehow I think this would make a nice fabric print.

I planted these two trees about 25 years ago on the south side of my little house to provide light shade in hot weather and privacy from the street, but the trees wouldn’t grow so big and have that they would endanger the house if a branch or the tree came down in a storm. They pretty much look as I expected way back when the dogwood and river birches were barely more than sticks, but I had no idea something as exceptional as this would happen.
