Clear Sunset

Usually a clear sunset has little color because it’s the play of clouds and the moisture in the atmosphere that creates the drama. But at just the right moment, catching a lot of sky to be able to see the gradation from top to bottom, and some awesome bare trees in silhouette, there’s quite a bit to enjoy. In this case the sun had set at least 20 minutes prior and the falling darkness and darker sky above made the colors and contrast more intense. It doesn’t hurt to stop and take a photo and see how it turns out, even if it looks dull.
