A Chihuly in the Woods

Chihuly in the Woods

It’s like finding a Chihuly in the woods. Dale Chihuly had many themes in shape and structure in his amazing glass sculptures. The one that stays with me is the elements that reminded me of the ferns’ fiddleheads in the woods in spring, their randomness but collective energy.

The fiddleheads suddenly appeared this week along with the other wildflowers, at such a rate I thought I might actually see them growing as I took their photo.
