Squirreling Up the Wrong Tree Squirrel in Mimi’s tree Mimi and I went out onto the front porch to enjoy the sunshine. But any hope of joy was lost when Mimi discovered the squirrel was using her tree! Her favorite scratching post! There he was just clawing and climbing all over it as if he owned it! Mimi sneaking soundlessly through the groundcover. Mimi is not much bigger than the squirrel but she engaged in a little squirrel terrorism by stalking him through the groundcover. She made it quite close to him and his shock and surprise were very satisfying to both of us. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram. Visit my photography galleries on Portraits of Animals.
