Don’t Leave That Puddle!

“Don’t leave that puddle while I got and get your father!” she said.

Well, it’s better than walking on hot pavement for sure, the three siblings agreed as their mother walked away.

On a very hot afternoon these geese were lucky to find an oasis on the edge of a brick alley. Of course, the creek is just a hundred yards or so away, but maybe having your own family puddle is better than sharing the public pool with everyone in the flock.

It looks like black and white but the heat and sun flashed out most of the color.
