What Happened to Spring?

Make it stop.

This robin looks as irritated about this weather as we are.

Except that I took this photo back in February when we’d had a heavy snowfall and the temperatures were in the teens. This week, after temperatures in the 70s and even 80s, we again had snow and temperatures in the 20s overnight and in the 30s daytime. When that happens after it’s been warm, it feels colder than colder temperatures.

I managed to capture this photo in really low light conditions, because it was overcast and late in the day, when I took my walk in the woods. The robin couldn’t have chosen a better perch, red staghorn sumac.
