Morning Song Purple Rose of Sharon This purple Rose of Sharon sings her morning song, facing the sunrise. She has only one day to sing as the tightly-rolled buds spin open like an old-fashioned umbrella, then close at dusk, never to open again. It’s a little grainy for shooting at 800 ISO, trying to see how that works for a pile of solid black cats. Pretty well, but I forget to switch it back before I photograph other things some times. . . . . . . . For a print of any photo, visit “purchasing” for availability and terms.
