Live Oaks and Spanish Moss Live Oaks and Spanish Moss It’s not my typical Western Pennsylvania landscape. This photo is from the Savannah Wildlife Refuge from when I visited for the eclipse. Like just about everyone else who visits the south I am enchanted by the gnarled live oaks festooned with dramatic Spanish moss.
