In the Dark Sunset

Black velvet draped land yet
colors awaken from deepest soot
through cool blue through violet
to magenta yellow glaring white
waits for that moment
last sliver of sun on the horizon
laughs with warm colors in that dark sunset

Poem in progress? I guess so. I started composing my text and this is what happened.
