Artifacts

Two little artifacts in my kitchen caught by angled autumn light, a wax apple candle so old dust is embedded into its surface, and a white enamel one-cup teapot trimmed in cobalt blue. I treasure them both for some reason, probably because of their steadfast plain old-fashionedness.
