Yesterday’s Sunset Yesterday’s Sunset Beware the sunset that looks like a sunrise, it may just be a beginning instead of an end. I was enchanted by the row of perfectly silhouetted bare deciduous trees and stocky conifers under the big sky. Not even a wisp of a cloud decorated any part of the arc overhead that slowly changed hue as the moments crept on. This was one I saw while driving, passed the open spot in the trees along the road I was driving on, decided I didn’t need to get it, decided I did need to get it, turned around and went back before the curve in the road where I saw this scene. I tried to time it so that no one was coming who would be behind me so that I could slow down and maybe pull over on the shoulder, pulled out, but by the time I came around the bend a car was coming up behind me. I pulled off a little farther along where there was space, parked, and walked back to the spot with the clear view. It was getting quite dark by the time I got several photos and I was concerned no one would see me walking along the berm of the road. I got to my car safely and looked through my photos. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram. Visit my photography galleries on Portraits of Animals.
