Watching at the Window

An overcast sunrise allowed just a little bit of warm yellow sunshine and Mewsette found a good spot, watching at the window at the top of the stairs. The back yard is full of activity as everything out there is eating at the bird feeders or the plants still standing or under the snow, and having a drink at one of the pans of hot water I put out this morning.

Mewsette is simply inside in this bitter weather, looking beautiful and contemplative, where every loved cat should be.
