Suddenly

siberian squills
Squills have arrived.

Suddenly, the squills are here, so tiny, close to the ground, but saturated with color and their delicacy is unmatched. They are a little late this year and laid low through the recent freeze, but on this mild day they bloom in profusion. Over the next week or so more will sprout from the ground and bloom. Expect more squills.
