Spilling Down the Hillside

I look at this little cluster of houses and buildings nestled among the trees on the steep hillside of Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh every time I cross the Liberty Bridge. I finally got the photo I’d wanted while sitting in a line of traffic at the light. It’s grainy because I took it through the windshield. Possibly someday I’ll do that painting too.

  1. Fascinating how houses can stay upright, when facing downwards like these are!! Maybe they’re just egging each other on: “You, first!!” “No, you!!”
