Daffodils on a Cloudy Day

Daffodils

On a cloudy day when nothing you did worked out as planned, you really need for the first daffodils to bloom.

I planted a row of these daffodils 30 years ago. As my yard changed they disappeared among the other shrubs and native plants until it was quite overgrown. I worked hard last year to clear out what wasn’t necessary, and was rewarded this spring with these daffodils.
