Bricks, Angles and Interesting Additions

Backs

I drove through a very old neighborhood in Pittsburgh, and am always fascinated with the views from alleys into the backs of buildings. These houses had been built with courtyards and walls or fences for privacy, and over the century or so additions were made onto the back, creating some interesting angles, and no doubt some interesting interiors.

I desaturated the image and added a slight diffuse glow to make it look aged and help distinguish one brick wall from another.
