A Beautiful Combination A Beautiful Combination The orange and pink are typically summery colors but the monarch and the sedum are a beautiful combination for a late-summer-feeling-like-autumn-morning. It’s good to see butterflies coming back to my yard, especially a monarch. I wonder if walking over the fuzzy flower tickled the bottoms of her tiny feet on the ends of those velvety legs. Even though autumn joy sedum is not a native plant all the pollinators and other insects seem to love it. Maybe it’s related closely enough to our somewhat similar native sedums that they can still identify it and get some good from it. Polka dots. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram.
