Snow Gnomes

Snow Gnomes
Snow Gnomes

My solar lights look like garden gnomes with their tall snow hats.

Yesterday morning was in the mid 50s and rose to about 62 degrees in the afternoon, and only a few piles of snow from the last snowstorm in the shadows where it took a while to melt. This morning the temperature was about 20, blustery with six to seven inches of snow in my back yard, especially in the more protected areas where the wind doesn’t blow it around. Even though I’ve been enjoying the sunny days and warmer weather, I’m not unhappy for this snowstorm and trying not to let it distract me like the surprise snowfall on Wednesday. I have some artwork, some writing, and other things I want to get done over this weekend and I’m just as happy to be “stuck inside”.
