Goddess: 2011 Goddess I don’t think she’s a famous one, but the foliage frames her so perfectly she almost seems to glow in that uncertain light between rainfalls. All that foliage looks fresh and happy, the greens are very intense, and the contrast of the fiery croton plants in the center with the blue-purple ageratum and greenery, and all the contrasts of texture, are very appealing, yet it’s a very simply composition. I’m not sure what she’s holding in her hand, and I couldn’t reach the foliage to pull it back and get a better look. A book? A lantern? I found her at Station Square on Wednesday.
