Beauty in the Storm Beauty in the Storm It really only rained for a few minutes, but that rain came in sideways and felt like ice cubes against my face. For about ten minutes everything was moving sideways, trees bending over, blossoms, leaves, scraps of paper and lightweight porch furniture borne along just above the ground as if floating by, but very quickly. I had my mother out for a doctor appointment, got her safely in the car, then sat there because I couldn’t see well enough to drive. Great opportunity for a photo through the windshield, though. I’m just catching up with photos because that little microburst knocked out my power until the next morning.
