This one little beam of sunlight only had about 60 seconds of opportunity on only a few days just before and a few days after the solstice to find the spot on my kitchen windowsill where I'd placed the turkey feather and a spider about the size of a grain of sand decided to use it as a staging site for a new trap for meals.
