The Last of the Dogwood Blossoms

Dogwood Blossoms

The dogwood blossoms are coming to an end—the ground is littered with large white petals and the tree is turning green with leaves. It will shade the side of my house all summer and grow shiny bright red berries in threes and fours where these flowers were, then the leaves will turn orange and red.

But until then the warm white of the blossoms against the sky is a spring theme. I think this looks like a nice fabric pattern.

Dogwood against the sky.
