Widow’s Tears Widow’s tears Widow’s tears, spiderwort, tradescantia, this is a wildflower native to North America that became a favorite garden flower. I remember it in the gardens of my older relatives when I was a child and I wonder if it was planted intentionally or it sidled over from the woods or pasture.
