Spires Spires The angle is a little odd, taken through the side window of my car, trying to reach above the guard rail of the bridge I was on, but each time I drive up the McArdle Roadway I see the domes of St. John the Baptist standing golden in front of Pittsburgh’s handful of skyscrapers with that big sky above, and it’s so…Pittsburgh. Perhaps just this little bit is enough.
