Ready or Not Ready or Not …here we come. All the bulbs have pushed through, and a month or more earlier than usual, and I see buds there too. I leave the leaves down so they have some cover, and we are to have some snow which is a wonderful insulating blanket that gives them a drink of water when it melts. I really can’t wait to see them bloom. They are a unique vintage doubled pouf of a daffodil that I dug up on a long-bandoned farm. I’m happy their memory, and the memory of that long-ago person who loved flowers, lives on. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram. Visit my photography galleries on Portraits of Animals.
