Phlox in the Morning Phlox drumondii, the good old-fashioned variety. Today’s flower is phlox! This is the time of year when so many things are blooming at once, and when I think of my yard in summer, this is what I think of. And though I’ve been photographing my flowers for years, each year is a new experience. Here I’ve caught just a frame full of rich violet-pink flowers touched my morning sun.
