Ophelia Watching Snow

Ophelia Watching Snow

It snowed so beautifully this morning; the cats were enchanted, and I took lots of photos. I will post my favorites of the ones taken with my DSLR tomorrow.

Ophelia is one of my foster cats, a kitten actually, a little less than a year old, a very pretty, petite long-haired gray girl with amber eyes who can be so silly I often call her Tweetie and Girly. She was a feral kitten who was removed from an unsafe area along with her brother, who is a long-haired black cat, and just barely friendly enough to be socialized. It’s taking some time, but they are such nice cats it’s a pleasure.

I love this photo. It’s so simple, but just what I pictured when I saw Ophelia there this morning. Lining up my phone with the window was a challenge when I also wanted Ophelia’s silhouette nearly centered and clear, placed against the window muntins. I couldn’t believe my luck.
