Middle of Nowhere

black cat on bench
Middle of Nowhere

It looks as if Mimi is out in an abandoned field but she’s just in our back yard. The rest of my yard is looking pretty good, but my garden is looking like this. Still, it’s very colorful, and very interesting.

Mimi chose to interact with the purple bench. She walked on it, sat in several spots facing several directions, put her paws on the back and looked over that way, all interesting. I liked this combination of pale, neutral colors with the rich purple and green spring colors and Mimi’s definite black—the day was dark with intermittent rain and the light had that deep, saturated quality just before the rain began to fall—and the combinations of patterns as well.
