First Snow, Branches and Birds

We had a good snow on December 1. I am always enchanted by the tracery of branches laced with snow. And so many birds! Video below.

The dogwood branches are reaching to catch snowflakes.

I think the birds are pretty excited about the first snow too. I love to listen to their chatter up in the trees, and they fly around in little flocks and visit the feeders. From December 1.
