First Snow, Branches and Birds Into the Snow We had a good snow on December 1. I am always enchanted by the tracery of branches laced with snow. And so many birds! Video below. Three cardinals and a squirrel. The dogwood branches are reaching to catch snowflakes. Looks like a hand. Dogwood is catching the snow. I think the birds are pretty excited about the first snow too. I love to listen to their chatter up in the trees, and they fly around in little flocks and visit the feeders. From December 1. . . . . . . . Follow me on Instagram.
