Cello Fury

Sometimes when I disappear for a few days I’m photographing for customers, and I need to remember to share those photos here.

We had an amazing concert last night with Cello Fury, and a very full and appreciative audience too at the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall in Carnegie. I work with the Library and get to photograph most of the performers in the Music Hall.

“Cellists Simon Cummings, Ben Muñoz and Nicole Myers along with drummer David Throckmorton unleash vitality and rhythmic drive in their music and dare to venture past classical expectations.”

It’s tricky to get a good angle on these three until they stood up because of the shape of the stage, amps and speakers and the way they are positioned on the stage for best sound. Sometimes I forget to photograph for listening though. Rock cello is amazing. These three are not only incredibly talented musicians, they are also composers and arrangers.
