At the Breakfast Counter

Sparrows and wrens all line up along the feeding trough, tails in air as the cardinal keeps order among the birds. Actually, there is seed on top of the feeder mixed in with the snow and he is having his breakfast in peace.

There was quite a bit of bird activity today, and gusts of cold wind blew snow around, glinting in the sun like crystals.
