Almost Full Harvest Moon

After weeks of clear weather tonight was rainy the the full moon was shrouded behind clouds. But last night the moon was just as impressive though not quite full and I took several photographs.

I like the one above for its subtleties, and also for the clarity of the moon itself. I like the one below for the clarity of the hills and trees even though the moon is over exposed. Either way it’s a lovely Harvest Moon.
