ACFL&MH Benefit Concert Photos

Each year I’m fortunate to photograph events at Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall.

On October 1, 2016, guests and Library & Music Hall patrons and supporters enjoyed a unique evening of chamber music from the Romantic era and ended with a set of tangos.

To Carnegie with Love was a musical love letter that celebrated the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall’s 115 years of service.  Bell’Art Ensemble put together a concert that took us on a journey through music’s Romantic era – Bizet, Rachmaninoff, Schumann and Dvořák.  This journey concludes with the ultimate expression of romantic love: Tango!  This truly multi-media event concludes with dancers from PGHTango and Joe Seaman’s brilliant projection designs.

The performance was preceded by a champagne reception in the Library and followed by an elegant after-performance supper in the Lincoln Gallery (2^nd floor) and the Studio (basement).  The ACFL&MH’s rare Civil War room, the Captain Thomas Espy Post of the Grand Army of the Republic (2^nd floor) was open for the reception.
